At Quantum Fabrication & Designs, we pride ourselves on industrial precision and material expertise. Because our products are custom-engineered and fabricated to your specific technical requirements, we handle refunds and returns with a focus on fairness and technical accuracy.
1. Custom Fabrication & Deposits
Due to the personalized nature of custom work (including 3D printing, CNC routing, and laser engraving), all projects are built to order.
- Deposits: A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) is required for all custom-quoted work once the design phase is approved. This deposit covers the specialized materials and machine time reserved exclusively for your project.
- Cancellations: If you cancel your order before fabrication begins, we will issue a full refund of your payment, minus the non-refundable deposit and any engineering consultation time already spent. Once fabrication has started, no refunds can be issued.
2. Defects, Errors & Quality Guarantee
We stand by the accuracy of our work. If we make a mistake that deviates from the agreed-upon design specifications, we will make it right.
- Technical Errors: If a part has a major dimensional error or uses the incorrect material based on your approved quote, we will refabricate the component at no additional cost to you.
- Reporting Issues: Please inspect your components immediately upon arrival. Any claims for technical defects must be submitted within 7 business days of delivery with supporting photos or measurements.
3. Shipping Damage
We take great care in packing your precision parts, but accidents can happen during transit.
- Damage Claims: If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
- Resolution: Provide photos of the damaged packaging and the product. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue and prioritize a replacement for your damaged items.
4. Non-Returnable Items
Unless there is a verified manufacturing defect, the following cannot be returned:
- Used functional parts or prototypes.
- Items fabricated from client-supplied materials.
- Bulk apparel or custom-branded promotional items.
